About Bon Juju
Bon Juju is a small, relationship-centered preschool rooted in rhythm, creativity, and connection. Early childhood is a meaningful, magical, and formative time - it shapes how we see the world, how we relate to others, and how we come to know that we are loved and have love to offer. It deserves thoughtfulness, beauty, and care.

The energy of Bon Juju is calm, warm, and grounded. It’s also silly and full of joy. Our days are designed to feel both predictable and alive, offering children a sense of security that becomes the foundation for curiosity, imagination, and discovery. We move through our time together with intention, balancing structure and freedom, guidance and independence, and group rhythm with individual expression.

With a small group size, each child is deeply known, and families are closely connected to their child’s experience through open and ongoing communication. Relationships are at the heart of Bon Juju - between teacher and child, among peers, and within our family community. These connections are strengthened throughout the year with hosted seasonal events where we gather for snacks and child-centric activities. Over time, this community creates a sense of belonging that is felt by everyone.

Bon Juju is a boutique preschool experience, and tuition reflects the full scope of care, intention, and materials that shape our year. Tuition is distributed evenly across the school year and includes:

A wholesome morning offering (similar to a light second breakfast) and homemade shared midday meal, prepared and served in a balanced, intuitive way

A thoughtfully designed monthly curriculum and newsletter, guided by the seasons and the developmental needs of the group

All materials for art, projects, and seasonal activities

School celebrations, including birthdays and seasonal traditions

Hosted family gatherings throughout the year

My vision for Bon Juju began over a decade ago while co-running a preschool in California. Years later, as I searched for the right environment for my own daughter, that vision fully came into focus. I was looking for a space that felt as warm and grounding as home, while offering the richness and intention of a thoughtfully designed school experience.

Bon Juju was created to be a boutique, home-based preschool that blends the comfort of a nurturing environment with the depth of an intentional early childhood program. With years of experience working with young children, my goal is to offer a space that is deeply safe, calm, and inspiring—where children feel secure enough to explore, create, and grow.
My work is guided by a strong foundation in Early Childhood Education, along with a BA in English Literature, which informs my approach to curriculum design and storytelling. I draw most closely from Reggio Emilia and Waldorf philosophies, weaving together play, creativity, nature, and social-emotional development. My background in theater informs a love of music, imaginative play, and seasonal classroom experiences, including meaningful showcases shared with families throughout the year.

I bring a thoughtful, organized, and intuitive presence to my work. I value beauty, rhythm, and connection in the classroom, and aim to create a space that feels both magical and deeply grounded. Parents have kindly likened me to a blend of Mary Poppins, Maria from The Sound of Music, and Miss Rachel - compliments I aspire to each day :)

Policies & Handbook
Bon Juju is a licensed, relationship-centered preschool for children ages 2.5–5, offering a calm, creative, and play-based environment inspired by Waldorf and Reggio philosophies. Our small group size allows each child to be deeply known and supported through a rhythm-based daily flow that includes creative play, nature time, music, art, practical life skills, and shared meals.

The preschool program runs Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m.–1:45 p.m. with 2 and 4 day schedules available, and emphasizes social-emotional development, connection to nature, hands-on learning, and community. Tuition includes daily homemade meals and snacks, curriculum materials, seasonal celebrations, developmental reports, and ongoing parent communication through Brightwheel. Our yearly calender mirrors the West Linn School District in holiday and federal closures.

Families can expect thoughtful health and safety policies, clear communication, a screen-free environment, and a strong emphasis on kindness, respect, and emotional development. Bon Juju is licensed through the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC), and follows state health and safety requirements.

A full printed copy of the Bon Juju Policy Handbook & Enrollment Contract is available to families upon touring. Tours are schedule by phone, and preliminary questions can be answered during this introductory call.
